Position Summary:

 

Compile and maintain departmental records, logbooks, charts, graphs and assists the Production Supervisor with all related information to include attendance/eTime, etc. Is responsible for departmental label accountability. Relieve employees for breaks and lunch and fills in for Scheduling Clerk when necessary.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Using a personal computer, maintain all production records and logs. Track material usage and daily variance. Prepare graphs, reports and summaries, update attendance records in database and other information as direction.
  • Maintain and control all departmental documentation including daily performance information along with forecasts for monthly cost review.
  • Prepare the daily output report and compile departmental performance information along with forecasts for monthly cost review.
  • Maintain and report daily inventory levels.
  • Issue and track all documents to assure movement of product is performed following policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and control all paperwork for the departmental month-end inventories, including cards and document accountability.
  • Control all aspects of manufacturing. This includes preparation, distribution, ordering and accountability of materials.
  • Provide weekly production data used in weekly supervisor reports.
  • Assist daily job assignments of employees according to the scheduled production requirements. Also assist supervisor in scheduling overtime when necessary.
  • Use computer system to input departmental documents and research data and lot problems on inquiry screens in order to make necessary adjustments.
  • Routine interfacing with key work centers such as Payroll, Stores, Accounting, Human Resources and other production work centers.
  • Compile and update all GMPs, departmental procedures as well as Company safety policies.
  • Relieve operators for breaks and lunch and contributes to training new operators.
  • Work in other units as necessary.

Starting Rate: $22.18/hr

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
