Position Summary: 

The Maintenance Technician - PAB is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal operational downtime. This role applies advanced technical knowledge across multiple skilled trades—including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance—to troubleshoot issues, execute repairs, and implement system improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. 

 

Working under general supervision, you will routinely inspect equipment, identify potential failures, and take proactive measures to prevent disruptions. This role may also provide guidance, training, and oversight to junior team members / op-techs, ensuring work is completed in alignment with established standards, policies, and performance targets. The position requires collaboration with internal teams, supervisors, and external contractors or vendors. 

 

 This position reports to Franklin Argueta and will be onsite.  

Salary Range:  $33.44 - $47.00hr

 

In this role, you will have the chance to: 

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on facility equipment and systems. 

  • Repair the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. 

  • Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault. 

  • Initiates improvement on the functionality of facility equipment and systems to increase its efficiency. 

  • Senior position might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. 

  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices 

  • Documents activities accordingly. 

 

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • Related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance
  • Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
  • Apply advanced working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs advance shop floor competencies.
  • Work under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors

 

Preferred Experience includes: 

  • Able to read electrical schematics.  

  • Experience in troubleshooting PLC controlled equipment and or trouble shoot transformers.  

  • Ability to solder and braze . 

  • Ability to install copper pipe, tubing and related fittings.  

  • Experience identifying gage types, cut, and bend sheet metals. 

  • Knowledgeable of operating principles of air handling systems.
