Position Summary:
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Directs and plans World Class Continues Improvement activities across the Corporate (Operation)
- Supports sites in implementation the OPEX
- Implements, trains and supports the implementation of Value Engineering in the R&D
- Ensures consistency in use of tools and techniques by local offices and the sharing of expertise between Designs a “common approach” to implementation of initiatives.
- Establishes, implements and tracks metrics and goals for World Class Manufacturing
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement across the organization. Prioritizes projects based on function area’s need and business impact.
- Oversees training, including the coordination and scheduling of workshops and training
- Establishes the qualifications and requirements for internal employee
- Researches current best practices in manufacturing support functions and evaluates their feasibility / implementation for the BBMUS
- Acts as main Change Agent and Champion for the Corporate function areas.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc
Required:
- Bachelor's degreein a technical or scientific field of study required, Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years related experience, minimum of 5 years management experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification required.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
- Occasional business travel required, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
- Experience in medical device or pharma manufacturing environment
Salary range: $195,000 - $230,000
Schedule: Onsite, Standard business hours - Monday-Friday, after hours support may be needed
