Job Function - General: 

  • Performs on-the-job learning in a manufacturing environment as assigned by mentor
  • Progress in apprentice program by attending and completing assigned courses and training
  • Document activities accordingly as required by department apprenticeship program and facility requirements
  • Complete assigned rotations by working on differing shifts as necessary 

The job function list is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. 

 

General:

Education and Professional Knowledge: 

  • High school diploma/G.E.D required 
  • Must be actively enrolled and in good standing with a regional apprenticeship program  

 

Experience: 

  • 00-02 years related experience  

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 

  • Required to apply entry level working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs entry level shop floor competencies. 

 

Supervision Given and Received: 

  • Works under guidance from an assigned mentor and direct supervision, will receive detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. 

 

Problem Solving: 

  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems. 

 

Contacts/Cooperation: 

  • Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, mentor and peers.

$22.00 - $26.00/ Per Hour 

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
