Position Summary
Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic controls and automated systems. Provides operating software support for automated equipment and installs electrical components and wiring. Ensures equipment operates in a validated state at peak operational efficiency.
Shift Details
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- May transition to shift-based schedule based on business needs
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions of machines, systems, and auxiliary equipment
- Routinely inspect equipment for signs of failure to minimize downtime
- Initiate improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability
- Diagnose and resolve issues impacting production efficiency
- Perform corrective maintenance and support reliability initiatives
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately
- Support deviation investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts
- Ability to work non-standard schedules and on-call as needed
- Regular and reliable onsite attendance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Technical Skills / Experience
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial electrical and automated control systems
- Experience supporting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment, including:
- I/O troubleshooting
- Sensors and actuators
- Communication faults
- Device integration
- Working knowledge of:
- HMIs
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Servo systems and motion control
- Industrial networking
- Experience with instrumentation and metrology equipment, including calibration of:
- Pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot:
- Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics
- Ladder logic
- P&IDs
- Wiring diagrams
- OEM technical documentation
- Familiarity with automated systems such as robotics, inspection systems, and conveyors (preferred)
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience in GMP/GxP manufacturing environments (preferred)

Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience OR completion of PBS requirements and assessment

- Work around moving machinery and production equipment

Salary Range: $28.33-$36.38/Hour
The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
