B. Braun Medical Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper to support the maintenance, upkeep, and improvement of company grounds and landscaped areas. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well‑maintained outdoor environment through hands‑on groundskeeping, landscaping, and equipment operation.

This is a physically active, individual contributor role requiring attention to safety, equipment care, and follow‑through.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement landscaping improvements and renovations using appropriate plants and landscaping materials
  • Maintain pathways, sidewalks, parking lots, and drains by clearing debris and ensuring safe conditions
  • Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, mowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, tractors, loaders, and snow removal equipment
  • Perform minor repairs to grounds equipment and irrigation sprinklers; assist with installation and maintenance of drip irrigation systems
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and functional condition
  • Order materials and equipment needed to maintain grounds and landscaping areas
  • Maintain work schedules to ensure all required grounds maintenance is completed
  • Take responsibility for assigned work and follow through to completion
  • Develop skills in additional areas of facility maintenance as needed
  • Duties listed are representative and not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of motorized equipment and hand/power tools used in groundskeeping
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions related to grounds and maintenance work
  • Knowledge of chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, cultivation, weed control, seeding, planting, and plant care
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Ability to operate hand tools, motorized equipment, and vehicles such as cars and trucks with trailers
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in groundskeeping and/or landscaping
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating a wide range of grounds and landscaping equipment

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Pay Range: $25.00 – $31.00 per hour based on experience
  • This position may require occasional overtime based on business needs

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Prolonged sitting during mowing operations
  • Prolonged standing and walking on varied terrain
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent reaching, pulling, bending, and occasional climbing
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
