Position Summary:
The Project Manager I is responsible for managing projects of low to moderate complexity across the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule. This role works closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop requirements, track progress, maintain project documentation, and report status to program managers and senior leadership. The position requires sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate stakeholders to successfully meet project objectives.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Manufacturing experience including injection molding, automated assembly, packaging, and medical devices.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Manage projects of low to moderate complexity across the full project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, execution, delivery, and closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and milestones, tracking performance against defined metrics and preparing reports for senior management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and technical conflicts, developing and implementing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to define requirements, analyze risk, and create and maintain project documentation, including the Design History File (DHF).
- Coordinate and lead project team activities, delegating tasks, aligning stakeholders, and communicating project status, issues, and outcomes to program managers and leadership.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with the ability to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects in accordance with standard practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling effective coordination of multiple tasks, priorities, schedules, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in project planning and tracking tools, including Microsoft Project, with experience creating and managing Gantt charts, timelines, and dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, and requirements to cross‑functional teams, vendors, and management.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving ability to address day‑to‑day project issues independently, identify risks, and escalate complex matters appropriately while working with minimal supervision.
Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field(i.e. Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences)
- 4+ years related experience.
- Secrecy and invention agreement and non-compete agreement, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
Salary Range: $105,300 - $115,300
The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
