Position Summary:
Join B. Braun Medical Inc. as a Product Engineer in our Allentown, PA R&D team, supporting a growing B2B MedTech and Pharma portfolio. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leading complex projects and influencing both technical and business outcomes.
You will own the full product lifecycle—from concept through validation and ongoing support—while working directly with customers to define requirements and deliver high-quality medical device solutions. Operating in a regulated environment, you will apply frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 to ensure compliance and robust risk management.
This position offers strong cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to work with diverse partners, technologies, and global industry leaders. Candidates should have a B.S. in Engineering, 6–8 years of experience, solid project leadership skills, and CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred).
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Develops, evaluates and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules or other information to facilitate production processes.
- Confers with vendors in order to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase and parts.
- Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.

Salary Range: $94,800 - $104,800
The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
