Position Summary:
The B. Braun Medical Craftsperson Apprenticeship Program(AP) is a two tier program designed to provide B.Braun with highly capable, technically focused employees to meet future business requirements. The AP is a corporate driven career development initiative. In order to minimize administrative oversight and maximize flexibility, the two tiers of the AP are designed to accommodate candidates with differing levels of prior education or work experience. Tier 1 level will consist of at least 8000 hours of on the job training and additional hours of classroom instruction. The required classroom work will be dependent on prior education and work experience. This will allow the apprentice to learn the craftsperson job to become an Intermediate level craftsperson in their department upon completion of the AP.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties

All apprentices must meet and follow all Company policies and successfully meet all program requirements as defined in their departments Apprenticeship Program policy.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- Able to work with limited direction and also understand department specific skills and process knowledge of the equipment
- Reading: Read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
- Writing: Write reports and essays with proper format punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech. Speaking: Speak before and audience with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct language and well modulated voice.
- Industrial math skills to include but not limited to : Computation, Calculate angles, circumference, area, and volume. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Basic Algebra.

Required:
- A new candidiate must have a minimum one year technical school and 2 years related field experience for participation in the B. Braun Apprenticeship Program for Mold Shop.This position will assist with the machining functions of production and support equipment in the assigned areas under the close supervision of a Mold Shop mentor. The work includes the manufacture of assembly machine components, tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
Schedule: Yellow Team 3x12 6pm to 6am
Salary Range: $30.28/hr
The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
