Management (f/m/d) for our strategic business area Robotic Surgery within our Global Marketing department.
Duties and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the strategic positioning of the robotic surgery product portfolio, conducting competitive analyses and ensuring sustainable differentiation to secure a strong competitive position in global markets
- You develop and manage the global product strategy, product positioning, and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market requirements, and corporate goals
- You identify, evaluate, and prioritize innovation and growth opportunities, manage the entire innovation process from ideation to successful market launch, and oversee a sustainable innovation portfolio
- You develop future-proof product, service, and business models, deriving robust business cases, business plans, and investment and growth strategies for the portfolio
- Your responsibilities also include the planning, prioritization, and financial management of the product portfolio, covering targets for revenue, earnings, market share, and profitability
- You initiate, manage, and oversee clinical studies, observational studies, and clinical evidence programs - working closely with Clinical Affairs, Medical Scientific Affairs, and external Key Opinion Leaders - to demonstrate the clinical benefit and health-economic relevance of our products
- You ensure that clinical evidence, health-economic data, and scientific publications are systematically utilized to support product positioning, market access strategies, and market launches
- You build and maintain an international network of leading microsurgeons, leveraging close collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders, scientific societies, and clinical users to drive innovation, clinical acceptance, and the strategic advancement of the product portfolio
- You employ a structured marketing process, analyzing clinical workflows and unmet needs, evaluating market potential, and deriving new application-based solutions to further develop the product portfolio
Professional competencies:
- You hold a university degree in business administration, medical technology, engineering, or a related field
- You have several years of solid professional experience in the medical technology sector, with a focus on international marketing and technical product management; leadership experience is ideal
- You possess in-depth knowledge of clinical applications in neurosurgery and spinal surgery
- You have a strong technical understanding to facilitate collaboration between product management, R&D, production, sales, and marketing
- You have experience in the strategic development of product portfolios, product launches, and the implementation of go-to-market strategies
- You possess excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in additional languages is desirable
