Internship (f/m/d) Global Marketing - Digital Surgery

At our German location in Tuttlingen (Aesculap AG) we are looking for an intern to support the Digital Surgery team for the summer semester of 2025.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • You collaborate with the development team to design and build an immersive OSS Safety Application
  • You work with game engine tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) to create realistic scenarios and simulations
  • You assist in integrating 3D models and animations to enhance the application’s interactive elements
  • You participate in testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the application
  • You support the documentation of the development process and provide input for future improvements

Professional competencies:

  • You study Computer Science, Game Development, Digital Media, or a related field
  • You have basic experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar)
  • You are familiar with with 3D modeling, animations, or simulation environments
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • You are interested in immersive technologies, healthcare applications or surgical simulations
  • You possess good communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Personal competencies:

  • You have a proactive, results-oriented and customer-centric personality with analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • You work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, encourage collaboration, also virtual one and mutual support 
  • You are self-motivated and you have a hands-on mentality 
  • You have a passion for data driven design and a desire to continuously learn and grow 
  • You stay productive and capable of acting in critical situations 
  • You communicate professionally in English and German
