As a Senior Manager of Technology Development Department at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

Overview:

The Tochigi Plant plays a critical role within the CoE Infusion and Pain Therapy, supplying injection needles to various B. Braun sites around the world. As a core member of the plant’s leadership team, the role is responsible for planning and implementing equipment installation and modifications, as well as process changes, in order to achieve targets for quality, productivity, and cost reduction.

In addition, the position will collaborate with overseas sites and lead the organization in driving process design and development for the manufacturing of newly developed products.

Your key responsibilities:

• • Collaborate with overseas sites to plan and establish manufacturing processes for new products.
  • Lead projects related to the installation and modification of new equipment to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct and manage equipment qualification and process validation activities to ensure that medical devices and their components are manufactured in a reproducible manner that meets required specifications.
  • Establish and maintain systems for the communication, storage, and management of product and component drawings.
  • Ensure the standardization of manufacturing process documentation for medical devices and related intermediate products.
  • Manage process changes aimed at cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Perform data analysis using appropriate methodologies and conduct quality investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage and develop team members to achieve the tasks and objectives of the Technical Department.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 8 years of experience in production engineering or related technical roles.
• More than 5 years of ｍanagement experience in a technical function within a manufacturing plant.
• Experience and knowledge of analytical tools and problem‑solving methodologies (Minimum of Six sigma green belt degree).
• Profound knowledge of ramp-up of new production machinery and processes.
• Proven experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships in Japan, APAC and Global.
• Experience working with overseas counterparts using English, as daily communication with global sites is required.
• Deep knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment; experience with PLC control is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools and usage in production processes.
• Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Excel and Word.
• Experience or knowledge of medical device validation is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in project management.
