As a Manager of Production Controls at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

Overview:

This role is based at the Tochigi Plant, a core site of B. Braun’s CoE Infusion and Pain Therapy. You will plan production for injection needles based on global site requirements and manage the manufacturing schedule and overseas shipments to ensure stable supply.

By working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support smooth operations and synchronized supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of products worldwide. As a key member of the plant’s leadership team, you will also contribute to process establishment, shop‑floor management, and organizational development. Depending on performance and suitability, development toward a Senior Manager role may be considered.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with overseas sites to plan and establish production processes.
  • Lead activities related to outsourcing in order to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement systems for communicating and managing product and component drawings and related technical information.
  • Based on mid‑term plans provided by overseas sites, propose necessary production equipment and investments, and drive related initiatives.
  • Promote the standardization of production planning processes.
  • Understand and implement process changes aimed at cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Apply appropriate methodologies to identify, address, and resolve issues within the production planning process.
  • Manage and develop team members to ensure the successful execution of tasks within the Supply Chain Management Department.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production control or production planning.
  • Experience working with English documentation and the ability to communicate regularly with overseas sites.
  • People management experience.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, machinery, or equipment is a plus.
  • PC skills: proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • SAP experience is highly welcomed.
