Your Opportunity

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercial and clinically minded sales professional to join the B. Braun family as a Territory Sales Specialist within our Hospital Care division. Based in the South Island of New Zealand, this role gives you full ownership of an established territory, driving the growth and success of our market leading IV Therapy and Regional Anesthesia portfolios. 

 

Reporting directly to the Director- Hospital Care Sales & Marketing, in this autonomous yet highly collaborative role, you will be the face of B. Braun across South Island hospitals. You will champion medical technologies that directly improve patient outcomes, cultivating deep relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical staff, and procurement networks to secure and expand our market presence.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

 

In this role you will-

 

  • Implement strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales revenue targets across the assigned portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain robust, professional partnerships with clinicians, anaesthetic staff, nursing teams, and administrative personnel.
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive product trials, in-service programs, and clinical presentations for individuals and large groups.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of clinical applications to provide outstanding product troubleshooting and proactive solutions.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis, utilising CRM and business analysis tools to spot purchasing trends and maximize return on investment.
  • Work closely with internal Product Managers, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes.

 

 

About You

 

 

To be successful in this role, your background will include:

 

  • A proven track record in sales with a strong aptitude for closing deals, or a clinical background (such as nursing) with a clear desire to transition into a commercial role.
  • Outstanding active listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, allowing you to effectively prioritise project steps, manage stock samples, and plan travel agendas independently.
  • A strong understanding of the New Zealand healthcare environment (experience with clinical portfolios is highly desirable).
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the capability to analyse business data and target growth areas effectively.

 

 

Additional requirement : 

 

To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in New Zealand/Australia, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
