Duties and responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods.

  • Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.

  • Conduct simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality), record results and prepare simple technical reports.

  • To maintain test equipment functionality, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration coordination.

  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

 

Professional competencies

  • Diploma with intermediate working experience

  • - Knowledge of ISO 13485

  • - FDA 21 CFR Part 820

  • Familiar with jigs/fixture drawing/ calibration/ validation is an added advantage.​​​​​​​

  • Required to apply advanced skils in area of specialization. May adapt procedures/ techniques /tools/ materials and /or equipment to meet special needs.

  • Work under minimal supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training , assigning and checking the work of lower level employees. Referring only exceptional problems and issues for superiors review or approval
