As a Technical Service Engineer at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….
Your key responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting a team of Technical Service and providing service on more advanced applications of the company’s products to end-users.
- Support sales team during the sales cycle by acting as a technical resource, describing the organization’s installation and/or support services. Able to perform dialysis, IT, application level "in source" training to hospital staff and Technical Service Staff.
- Serves as field liaison between all level of customer interaction to clinical staff.
- Maintain customer good will through: effective communication of all services rendered; effective communication of service and operator issues; effective presentation of positive attitude for the company, products, employee, and customers; and maintaining a proper business appearance as defined by service management.
- Resolve operational issues in a variety of hardware/software solutions at client site using established troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance or services performed.
- Test and calibrate components and equipment following manufacturer’s manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools and measuring devices.
- Broad and deep understanding of products, clinical practices, hospital work streams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Will utilize the preferred software for entering Work Order and Non-Work Order activities.
- Determines backup components to be maintained in stock.
- Keeps track of all travel receipts and complies with all company policies regarding expensed items.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor degree required, preferably majored in medical engineering
- New graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of the medical device industry
- Ability to work independently and follow standard practices and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to technically troubleshoot and analyze problems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze a situation based on information provided by a customer and suggest multiple solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English is preferred
