As a Technical Service Executive at B. Braun, you play a vital role in ensuring optimal performance of dialysis machines and ancillary systems. You will be responsible for installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and technical training for end users. Beyond technical expertise, you will build strong customer relationships, act as the primary technical contact, and support service excellence through accurate documentation and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Your key responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning — Install, inspect, and commission medical equipment per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance — Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose, and repair complex electro‑mechanical, hardware, and software faults.
- Calibration and Testing — Conduct calibration, functional testing, and performance verification to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Customer Support — Provide on‑site and remote technical support, document interactions, and build trust‑based relationships.
- Service Documentation — Record all service activities promptly in ServiceMax and other B. Braun systems.
- Training — Deliver technical training to biomedical engineers and clinical staff on maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Compliance and Safety — Follow B. Braun quality systems, safety policies, and healthcare regulations.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work with technical support, sales, and operations to resolve issues and drive improvement.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Must have at least three years of experience in servicing medical equipment; dialysis or renal care experience is an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment, including calibration and maintenance procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to repair complex electro‑mechanical, hardware, and software issues.
- Must be proficient in service documentation systems and able to record activities accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for training biomedical engineers, clinical staff, and interacting with customers.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and provide on‑site technical support.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and respond promptly to technical emergencies.
