Tasks & Responsibility
Clinical Knowledge and Expertise
• Possess a strong foundation in the medical field, with a specific understanding of the therapeutic area relevant to the company's products. This could involve knowledge of specific diseases, treatment protocols, and relevant medical terminology.
• Stay updated on current medical research, clinical guidelines, and best practices to ensure their training and recommendations are aligned with the latest advancements.
• Create and maintain a library of clinical studies for B. Braun AIS/IVC portfolio in collaboration with Aesculap Academy, Regional Hospital Care team and Global Marketing & Sales of Hospital Care
• Gather relevant materials from professional publications and network; interpret data and present findings to healthcare professionals.
• Provide customers with clinical expertise, education, patient management development consulting, and product line utilization services in relation to AIS/IVC procedures.
Clinical Application Training and Education
• Develop and deliver clinical education programs tailored to the prior knowledge and experience of healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, technicians), ensuring they gain a proper understanding of how to use our products via Aesculap Academy learning platform.
• Create training manuals, presentations, or conducting in-service workshops.
• Effectively communicate the product's benefits, features, and functionalities, emphasizing their impact on patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Provide clinical based training and clinical support to internal sales and marketing teams in accomplishing sales objectives.
Sales Support
• Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting the product's advantages and its ability to improve patient care delivery.
• Partner with sales representatives to identify customer needs and develop strategies to address them with the company's offerings.
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Market Awareness
• Staying informed about industry trends and access competitors’ products and business models, especially on how they position their company's offering effectively.
• Identify and access new areas of opportunities for new/existing products and share with sales & marketing team.
• Work with customers and sales & marketing team to identify future pipeline of company’s AIS/IVC products which will be required for Taiwan market.
• Keep updated with the change in nursing practices and hospital procedures in various types of hospitals.
• Gather information and feedback of medical devices and pharmaceutical products from healthcare professionals about different practices.
Customer Support
• Respond to inquiries and concerns from healthcare professionals regarding the product's use, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during implementation or operation.
• Able to give professional feedback in terms of diagnostic and therapy outcome.
• Manage KOLs and develop good working relationships (clinical based) with established leaders.
• Gather customer feedback on the product's performance and effectiveness, relaying this information back to the company and sales & marketing team for further actions.
• Evaluate the safety and efficacy of the medical devices and pharmaceutical products and share with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals at various hospitals. This might involve attending conferences, networking events, or scheduling regular visits to build rapport and trust.

Essential Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively train and educate healthcare professionals.

• In-depth knowledge of the medical field and the specific therapeutic area the company focuses on.
• Ability to travel to different healthcare facilities in different regions and meet with various healthcare professionals.
• Solid understanding of medical devices or technologies and their applications within a clinical setting.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address customer concerns and technical issues.
Qualification and Experience
• University degree in business administration, nursing, medical science or related field
• At least 6 years of experience as a clinical application specialist in healthcare industry

• Able to formulate, implement and monitor AIS/IVC initiatives in the hospital setting.
• Able to work independently, cross functionally in matrix organization.
• Analytical/structured thinking and communicator.
• Able to work independently and multi-task.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Must have excellent skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
