As a Services Engineer at B. Braun you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal operation and performance of dialysis equipment at hospitals and free-standing dialysis centers across Batangas and Laguna region. This role involves technical assessments, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training of end-users on proper equipment use. You will also collaborate closely with healthcare providers to maintain equipment reliability and compliance with operational standards.  

 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment at assigned hospitals and dialysis centers to ensure optimal operation.  

  • Perform routine calibration, repair, preventive maintenance, and replacement of parts within the designated timeframe to meet quality and compliance standards.  

  • Provide timely and effective technical phone support to resolve equipment issues within 24 hours, ensuring minimal downtime for healthcare providers.  

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, documenting findings and implementing solutions to restore equipment functionality.  

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical staff or manufacturer’s support, when necessary, to ensure timely resolution.  

  • Prepare detailed technical service reports after each service visit, including initial assessment, actions taken, and further recommendations to promote equipment health and enhance performance.  

  • Train hospital and dialysis center technical staff on equipment features, proper usage, and basic troubleshooting to enhance end-user competence and prevent misuse.  

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clinical teams to ensure the safe and effective use of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment.  

  • Promote a culture of safety, highlighting the importance of preventive maintenance, accurate calibration, and adherence to equipment safety procedures.  

  • Provide feedback to management on recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvements to service processes.  

What you'll bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.  

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in servicing medical equipment, ideally within the dialysis or renal care industry.  

  • Strong knowledge of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance procedures will be advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and interact effectively with healthcare providers.  

  • Willingness to travel to various client sites and provide on-site support as needed.  

  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to client needs and technical emergencies.
