As a Services Engineer at B. Braun you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal operation and performance of dialysis equipment at hospitals and free-standing dialysis centers across Batangas and Laguna region. This role involves technical assessments, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training of end-users on proper equipment use. You will also collaborate closely with healthcare providers to maintain equipment reliability and compliance with operational standards.
Your key responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment at assigned hospitals and dialysis centers to ensure optimal operation.

Perform routine calibration, repair, preventive maintenance, and replacement of parts within the designated timeframe to meet quality and compliance standards.

Provide timely and effective technical phone support to resolve equipment issues within 24 hours, ensuring minimal downtime for healthcare providers.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, documenting findings and implementing solutions to restore equipment functionality.

Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical staff or manufacturer’s support, when necessary, to ensure timely resolution.

Prepare detailed technical service reports after each service visit, including initial assessment, actions taken, and further recommendations to promote equipment health and enhance performance.

Train hospital and dialysis center technical staff on equipment features, proper usage, and basic troubleshooting to enhance end-user competence and prevent misuse.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to clinical teams to ensure the safe and effective use of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment.

Promote a culture of safety, highlighting the importance of preventive maintenance, accurate calibration, and adherence to equipment safety procedures.

Provide feedback to management on recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvements to service processes.
What you'll bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in servicing medical equipment, ideally within the dialysis or renal care industry.

Strong knowledge of dialysis machines and ancillary equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance procedures will be advantageous.

Strong communication skills with the ability to train and interact effectively with healthcare providers.

Willingness to travel to various client sites and provide on-site support as needed.

Ability to work independently and respond quickly to client needs and technical emergencies.
