POSITION SUMMARY
The Professional Hospital Representative drives revenue by building strong relationships with healthcare clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the full sales process from prospecting to negotiation. The role ensures accurate sales reporting, collaborates with internal teams, supports billing and collections, and stays informed on industry trends to deliver effective, customer-focused solutions.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Development & Client Management
- Identify and cultivate relationships with hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals to generate sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Demonstrate strong sales drive by securing new clients and striving to exceed targets.
- Use deep customer knowledge to identify key prospects, understand client pain points, internal processes, and organizational dynamics.
- Maintain an accurate customer database to support targeted sales efforts.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to healthcare clients’ needs.
- Communicate effectively across different channels, simplifying complex information and ensuring clear and timely delivery.
- Act with customer focus by addressing needs efficiently, building sustainable partnerships, and finding joint solutions.
Sales Operations, Negotiation & Performance Delivery
- Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with healthcare clients to maximize revenue while meeting client requirements.
- Take ownership of performance delivery, making sound decisions and ensuring tasks are completed with discipline and quality.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline data using CRM tools.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales initiatives and enhance customer engagement.
- Share knowledge and insights with cross-functional teams and include key stakeholders in decision-making as needed.
- Stay informed about healthcare industry changes, including regulatory updates, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
- Use market and industry insights to refine sales strategies, drive innovation, and discontinue ineffective approaches.
Financial Coordination, Forecasting & Compliance
- Work with the Finance team to implement strategies for recovering overdue payments, negotiating terms when needed and escalating unresolved cases.
- Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on payments, and help resolve billing discrepancies to support cash flow and revenue targets.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts using market research, customer insights, and historical data.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align forecasts with inventory and production planning to avoid stock shortages or overstock.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, actively seeking feedback and investing in continuous learning.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements relevant to medical products.
- Educate clients on safe and compliant product use.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
CRM Management (Salesforce and Other Digital Tools)
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer information in the CRM (Salesforce) and other required company platforms.
- Create, manage, and track leads, sales opportunities, customer visits and other sales related activities in CRM(Salesforce) ensuring accurate and complete data integrity.
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) and BI (ei. PowerBI) dashboards, insights, and analytics to monitor performance and support effective territory planning and management
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, documentation protocols, and internal systems standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in medical or pharmaceutical sales, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, processes, and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex environments and build relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within healthcare organizations.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities in the healthcare market.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
