As an Officer - Credits and Collections with us in B.Braun, you will play a vital role to evaluate customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to minimize bad debt exposure and optimize cash flow. Driving the potential and motivation of the team's development too.
Your key responsibilities:
- Review credit reports, financial statements, and customer profiles to assess creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
- Establish and monitor credit limits and payment terms in line with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Track accounts receivable aging reports to identify and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Contact customers to resolve payment discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and escalate overdue accounts when necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage timely payments and resolve billing issues professionally.
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address credit concerns and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of credit activities and prepare regular reports on collections, aging, and bad debt reserves.
- Identify and implement best practices, automation tools, and process enhancements to improve credit and collections efficiency.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit and collections roles.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, collections techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP).
