As a Demand Planning Manager at B. Braun, you will lead demand forecasting and supply alignment across multiple sales divisions. You will translate commercial demand signals into robust, executable supply plans, serving as a key driver of the local SI&OP process. This role requires a data‑driven mindset, leveraging SAP APO and advanced analytics to generate insights that improve forecast accuracy, supply reliability, and inventory health. Beyond technical expertise, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing, coach planners, and influence strategic decision‑making to strengthen customer order fulfillment.
Your key responsibilities
- Demand Forecasting — Lead forecasting across three sales divisions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
- Supply Alignment — Translate commercial demand signals into executable supply requirements supporting OTIF performance.
- SI&OP Leadership — Drive the local SI&OP process, delivering demand scenarios, risks, and trade‑off recommendations.
- Sales Partnership — Collaborate with Sales to validate assumptions, challenge forecasts, and integrate market intelligence.
- Performance Monitoring — Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, supply reliability, and inventory health.
- Team Coaching — Mentor and guide planners, reinforcing best‑in‑class planning discipline.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related fields.
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in demand planning or similar roles.
- Proven success managing demand in high‑volume, fast‑moving environments.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP APO or comparable advanced planning systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong capability with PowerBI; experience with analytics/visualization tools is a plus.
- Influential communicator with the ability to drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Prior mentoring or leadership experience preferred.
