As an Assistant Manager - MIS at B. Braun you will play a vital role in…. 

 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • Implement and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring high availability and reliability. 

  • Monitor network performance and conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies. 

  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system reliability and security, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

  • Provide high-level technical support to users, addressing and resolving complex IT issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruption to business operations. 

  • Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets, ensuring issues are tracked, prioritized, and resolved efficiently. 

  • Conduct training sessions and create comprehensive documentation to help users maximize their use of IT systems and tools. 

  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions for user reference, ensuring continuous improvement in user support services. 

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services. 

  • Monitor vendor performance and service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to maintain service standards. 

  • Evaluate and select new vendors and service providers as needed to support evolving IT needs and ensure competitive pricing. 

  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor contracts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and budget constraints. 

  • Support the IT department with budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting, tracking IT expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget. 

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of IT services. 

  • Prepare financial forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights into IT spending and budgetary needs. 

  • Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, aligning with organizational objectives. 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources, and manage project risks, providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status and outcomes. 

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of IT projects, addressing any interdependencies and potential conflicts. 

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects. 

  • Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure cohesive IT strategy and operations, participating in global IT initiatives and projects. 

  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with senior management on IT initiatives, project status, and strategic IT planning, providing insightful reports and recommendations to support decision-making processes. 

  • Think creatively to develop out-of-the-box solutions to complex IT challenges, fostering a culture of innovation within the IT team and across the organization. 

  • Lead initiatives to streamline IT processes, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall user experience.

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT vendor and contract management.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading IT projects. 

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience working in a global team environment. 

  • Proficiency in using IT power tools and software.
