As a Assistant Manager - Credit & Collection at B. Braun you plays a crucial role in supporting the Credit Manager in overseeing strategic and daily credit and collection operations, including policy implementation, risk analysis, and receivables monitoring. The role also leads a team to drive performance and collaborates with cross-functional departments to balance business growth with effective risk management and meet collection targets.

 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Perform financial analysis, credit reviews, and risk assessments to evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend decisions to senior management.
  • Set credit limits and terms aligned with company policies and risk tolerance, while monitoring compliance and suggesting policy improvements.
  • Lead and manage collections activities to reduce delinquency and bad debt, including negotiating payment arrangements with customers.
  • Track A/R aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve credit issues and customer disputes effectively.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to support timely payments and serve as the escalation point for collection disputes.
  • Analyze credit and collections performance metrics (e.g., DSO, aging, bad debt reserves) and prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Support audits, strategic planning, and process improvements while providing leadership to the Credit & Collection Officers and AR Coordinators.

 

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in credit and collections management, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong expertise in credit risk assessment methodologies, credit policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
