Job Summary:

Work as international specialist on site within Center of Competence international platform surgical instruments, business safeguarding & driving maintenance and lifecycle management to its best outcome, lead cooperation & collaboration with CoE on innovative development proejcts.

Responsibilities:

• Research and Conceptualization: Conduct research to understand existing technologies, market trends, and customer needs.  Brainstorm and conceptualize new ideas, features, or improvements. Lead robotic assited surgical instruments innovation synergetic with headquarter.
• Design and Development: Create detailed designs, specifications, and prototypes. Collaborate with other engineers to develop and refine product components. Lead the concession and PLM management & new product development per AIM process of the instruements SGM, NES and MIS based on global CoC platform.
• Testing and Validation: Perform rigorous testing, simulations, and validation to ensure product reliability and performance. Troubleshoot issues and iterate on designs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, test results, and project progress. Present findings and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non technical audiences.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated on industry advancements, attend conferences, and participate in training. Seek opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.

Education and Qualifications:

• Major in mechanical design engineering, Master degree or above.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in R&D function and at least 2 years in medical industry, executed complete new product development process, certain project management & change management experience. Be experienced with surgical instruments development, such as surgical instruments, ultrasonic scalpel, stapler, robotic surgical instruments, and endoscopic instruments. 
• Good to have knowledges with international norms and standards for surgical instruments. Good communication skills, innovative, analytical thinking, conceptual skills. Self-management with hands-on mentality, openness and courage to try something new. Good written skill of English with fluent oral English speaking in professional terminology.
