Software Engineer (f/m/d) - Systemtest

As a part of B. Braun’s strategic initiative „B. Braun – the next decade“, the “Smart Therapy Eco-System” provides a variety of digital services and applications, therefore providing more value for the medical products of our customers. Cloud Services will be provided by connecting to the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).  

 

Within the Hospital Care division, Center of Excellence Automated Infusion Systems, we look for a Software Engineer System Test (f/m/d) for the development of automated test suites for modern Server applications. We develop innovative applications for connecting active medical products like infusion pumps in order to provide clinical users with features like therapy documentation, remote alarming etc. and support users with optimized workflows. 

 

Within the program Clinical IT (Automated Infusion Systems) we develop server-based applications by utilizing technologies as Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, Kafka etc., which are verified in system test mainly with automated test suites based on the Cypress framework.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements based on customer requirements

  • Creation of test specifications based on customer requirements and derived system requirements

  • Write software in Node.js, JavaScript or similar based on corporate style guides

  • Planning, creation and execution of system tests

  • Collaboration with the development team for System-safety and security concepts

  • Provision of a comprehensible software- and project documentation

 

Professional competencies:

  • At least successful completed university degree (Bachelor) in computer science or similar

  • Broad experience in software development and verification

  • Very good knowledge in html, node.js and JavaScript

  • Fluent skills in English language written and spoken
