As an Automation Engineer – Hospital Integration Applications, you will be involved in the ideation and creation of our next generation Digital Products. Our innovative solutions are tailor-made to fulfill the unique needs and high-quality standards of our partners and customers in the healthcare industry. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work in an Agile software development environment, as a part of an interdisciplinary project team
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases to verify seamless integration of Hospital information systems (via HL7, FHIR, DICOM interfaces) and Hospital ERP interfaces (SAP) with BBraun Cloud Services and Web apps
  • Verify data exchange, transformation, and interoperability across cloud-based environments
  • Utilize data simulators to generate realistic test scenarios for healthcare interoperability
  • Develop and perform API testing with tools like Postman, REST-Assured SOAPUI, and report test results
  • Develop and execute API and UI Test Cases on Playwright
  • Conduct performance and scalability testing for cloud-based data transactions
  • Work closely with developers, system architects, and business analysts to identify and resolve integration challenges
  • Track, report, and manage defects using test management tools
  • Work closely with Development and DevSecOps teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Define test environments and test strategies for cloud services connecting large number of IOT devices
  • Review requirements for testability, proactively raise the concerns and suggest improvements
  • Write test plans and test reports as part of the technical documentation


Professional competencies
  • Strong technical background on setting up and extending the test setup for a project, developing and executing scripted test cases
  • Strong experience in automating API and GUI testing
  • Experience testing cloud-based services and integration testing
  • Experience working with data simulators, preferably for healthcare data validation
  • Experience on Automation Test Reporting tools (eg. Allure Reports)
  • Experience in developing Test Plans and Reports
  • Experience in CI/CD and DevOps processes (preferably GitHub), particularly integrating TCs into the pipeline
  • Technical background on Cloud solutions, preferably have experience with Azure Cloud
  • Knowledge on Test Levels, Test Types and Software Test Techniques
  • You set high standards for quality at the same time enjoy finishing tasks on time 
  • You are a hands-on doer, a self-starter, a strong team player and a continuous learner 
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have enthusiasm for high-tech medical products rounds up your profile
