Job Summary 

  • Deliver the allocated budget to achieve sales targets;
  • Service existing business and proactively seek new opportunities;
  • Ensure healthy CMII according to the company guidelines.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
  • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales;
  • Gather market, customer & competitor information;
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers;
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  • Liaise with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders;
  • Check quantities of goods on display and in stock;
  • Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office;
  • Review own sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targets;
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
  • Feed future buying trends back to employers;
  • Understand and abide by requirements of GDP & GDPMDS;
  • Understand and act according to B. Braun SOPs;
  • Receiving, documentation & prompt forwarding of product complaints to local responsible person;
  • Collates complaint samples and information, completes complaint form and replies to customer on result of complaint investigation promptly.

 

Professional Competencies 

  • Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in business administration, marketing, nursing or medical science.
  • At least 2 years sales experience. Advantage would be in the related field of surgical instruments sales
  • Good communicator & interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in the use of computer.  Must know Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
