Job Summary
- Deliver the allocated budget to achieve sales targets;
- Service existing business and proactively seek new opportunities;
- Ensure healthy CMII according to the company guidelines.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
- Visit potential customers to prospect for new business;
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales;
- Gather market, customer & competitor information;
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
- Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers;
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
- Liaise with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders;
- Check quantities of goods on display and in stock;
- Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office;
- Review own sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targets;
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
- Feed future buying trends back to employers;
- Understand and abide by requirements of GDP & GDPMDS;
- Understand and act according to B. Braun SOPs;
- Receiving, documentation & prompt forwarding of product complaints to local responsible person;
- Collates complaint samples and information, completes complaint form and replies to customer on result of complaint investigation promptly.
Professional Competencies
- Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in business administration, marketing, nursing or medical science.
- At least 2 years sales experience. Advantage would be in the related field of surgical instruments sales
- Good communicator & interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in the use of computer. Must know Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
