Your Role:

Are you an experienced inventory professional looking to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for a Senior Inventory Controller to join our team and play a key role in driving best practices, improving system accuracy, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across our inventory processes.

The role includes deputising for the Inventory Control Team Leader, taking responsibility for organising resources, escalating issues, making decisions, attending meetings, and representing the department when required. We are looking for someone who can bring leadership presence, ideally with previous experience in a similar capacity.

Key Details:

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A of the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday. The role operates on alternating weekly shifts: 6am – 2pm one week and 10am – 6pm the next.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Carry out all inventory stock counting processes and inventory accuracy checks across the B. Braun Medical Ltd sites and Third-Party Warehouses.
  • Support the Inventory Team Leader to meet accuracy targets and drive best practices.
  • Lead cycle counts, audits, and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Own core inventory processes and maintaining accurate system records.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehousing, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive process improvements and supporting SOP and training development.

 

 

What you need to succeed:

 

  • 3 years’ experience in inventory control or supply chain roles.
  • Solid experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and process orientation.
  • Committed to Health and Safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
