Your Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join our Hospital Care team, specialising in the IV Pharma product portfolio.

You will take ownership of your territory, working closely with hospital pharmacy teams and other key stakeholders to understand their needs, support pharmacy-led purchasing decisions and grow sales across new and existing customers.

You’ll combine commercial acumen with strong product knowledge, building trusted relationships while driving sales performance and delivering expert product education.

This role would suit an experienced medical or pharmaceutical sales professional, or a candidate with a Pharmacy background looking to transition into a commercial career.

 

Key Details:

  • Job Title: Sales Specialist
  • Department: Anaesthesia & IV Pharma
  • Location: Field-based role covering Sheffield through to the West Midlands, with a preference for candidates to be located within the West Midlands area
  • Working Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Permanent

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of our IV Pharma portfolio across new and existing hospital customers, building strong relationships with pharmacy teams and other key stakeholders
  • Understand pharmacy-led purchasing practices and customer requirements, positioning solutions that add value and meet clinical and commercial needs
  • Develop and execute effective territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Deliver product training, education and support to customers
  • Represent the business at meetings, exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops
  • Stay informed on market trends, clinical developments and competitor activity, maintaining accurate territory records using CRM systems

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales, or a background in Pharmacy with an interest in moving into a commercial role
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence pharmacy and other healthcare stakeholders
  • A competitive and driven mindset
  • A proactive approach to customer education, training and engagement
  • Highly organised, with a structured approach to managing a busy territory
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays as required
  • Willingness to work towards the ABPI qualification
