Do you have a strong background in capital medical equipment sales and the ambition to step into a key leadership role? We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Regional Sales Manager to lead our South Region within the Infusion Therapy business, focusing on capital equipment, including our market‑leading infusion pumps.

In this pivotal role, you will combine:

  • Hands‑on field leadership with customers and your team
  • Expertise in capital equipment sales and long‑cycle NHS procurement
  • Coaching, development, and performance management to build capability and deliver sustainable growth

Key details:

  • Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
  • Department: Automated Infusion Systems
  • Location: Field Based, South England - the ideal candidate will be based within the M25 or within approximately 50 miles of London.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Contract: Permanent

Your main responsibilities: 

Sales Performance & Strategy

  • Achieve regional sales targets across the infusion therapy and capital equipment portfolio
  • Drive capital sales growth by developing a strong, sustainable pipeline
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform regional sales strategy

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach and develop the South regional sales team to achieve high performance
  • Spend a minimum of three days per week in the field providing hands‑on support
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members

Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key NHS clinicians and procurement teams
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to protect and grow existing business
  • Support technical discussions, product trials and launches with customers

Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Identify and prioritise business development opportunities in the region
  • Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with NHS frameworks and agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM data to support business planning

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales, ideally within medical devices
  • Strong understanding of NHS purchasing processes, particularly around capital equipment
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating a high‑performing sales team
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring action internally and externally
  • Commercial mindset with strong selling, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working autonomously
  • Flexible to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight stays, with a full UK driving licence
