QA Pharmacist

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Quality Management System, deviations, Corrective Actions & Preventative Actions (CAPA) and audits. You will provide technical expertise and support to the Aseptic manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), policies and procedures.

  • Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Weekly
  • Contract: Permanent

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Create and update formulations for hospital compounded nutrition bags
  • Support and lead problem solving investigations with respect to sterility assurance and other quality issues.
  • Take ownership of CAPA actions relating to Quality systems and verify CAPA implementation and effectiveness.
  • Contributing to process development and validation, production of product specifications and stability statements.
  • Contribute to on-going quality improvement e.g. monitoring and trending of errors, near-misses, deviations and environmental data.

What you need to succeed:

 

  • Proven experience of working as a Pharmacist
  • Proven experience of working with QMS and GMP
  • Proven experience of working within a commercial or NHS environment
  • Auditing experience is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working within Aseptics is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communicator with attention to detail
  • A methodical and organised approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure, take ownership and prioritise appropriately
