Process Transformation Manager

Your Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on and forward-thinking Process Transformation Manager to drive innovation, optimise operations, and lead strategic transformation across our compounding and aseptic environments.

In this role, you’ll combine your technical expertise with project management skills to deliver impactful change. You’ll work cross-functionally to embed new technologies, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with GMP and MHRA standards.


Key Details:

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW.

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement & Optimisation

  • Audit and assess current manufacturing workflows using tools like VSM and FMEA.
  • Identify inefficiencies and redesign processes to improve yield, cycle times, and resource utilisation.

Strategic Transformation Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement change and support capacity expansion.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable process improvements.

 

Aseptic Operations Excellence

  • Maintain a strong cleanroom presence to uphold aseptic standards and behaviours.
  • Ensure compliance with MHRA, GMP, and NHS QA standards.

Technology & Equipment Integration

  • Lead planning and execution of equipment upgrades and installations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to integrate new technologies.

SOP Governance & Compliance

  • Review and update SOPs to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and apply HACCP principles to maintain aseptic integrity.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong background in manufacturing, within aseptic or compounding environments.
  • Proven project management experience and a track record of implementing change.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (GMP, MHRA) and thrives in a cleanroom setting.
  • Skilled in coaching, training, and developing others to meet operational and regulatory needs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and digital tools for process monitoring.
