Location: Sheffield, S35 2PW. Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days working from home)

Working Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Salary: 
£24,833 per annum

Closing Date: Sunday 5th April 2026

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre in Sheffield on Tuesday 28th April. This is a full‑day commitment, and you will be required to be available for the entire day.

About you:

Whether you’re completing a 12‑month placement as part of your studies or looking to progress your early HR career, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop.

You may be working towards or have recently completed a qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field, and may have already gained some experience from an entry‑level HR role.


About the Internship:

Our HR Transformation Internship offers you the opportunity to gain handson experience supporting a wide range of people-focused projects across the business. Working closely with the HR team, you’ll play an active role in delivering key programmes that shape employee experience, engagement, learning and development, wellbeing, and leadership development. This role will give you valuable insight into how HR projects are planned, delivered, and embedded across a large organisation.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple HR transformation projects, ensuring actions, timelines, and milestones are clearly tracked and communicated.
  • Collaborating closely with HR team, and stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth project delivery and consistent messaging.
  • Gathering and analysing employee feedback and survey data, contributing insights to shape HR decisionmaking.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as handling confidential information, supporting reporting processes, and raising or tracking requests when needed.
  • Helping deliver internal events including workshops, training sessions, and health & wellbeing activities.
  • Creating and preparing internal communications such as emails, updates, presentations, toolkits, and briefing materials to support HR initiatives.
  • Assisting with the rollout of key HR programmes, including performance, engagement, learning & development, wellbeing, and leadership initiatives.
