We are looking to recruit a Finance Director for the B. Braun Group in the UK. The scope covers the full UK operation, including 5 legal trading entities covering Sales, Marketing & distribution to the UK market, and a strong presence in Home Care following many successful years of growth.
The role reports to the UK Managing Director and is a member of the Executive Committee for the UK. It is based in Sheffield, UK.
The role will provide strategic vision in the leadership and performance of the following UK central service functions: Finance, Indirect Procurement, IT and Facilities Management, with direct line management for circa 35 employees. In doing so, the successful candidate will sustain an environment and culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, service and commercial excellence.
Duties and responsibilities
- Functionally and legally fully responsible for local Finance, Accounting, Controlling, tax, and the interface with Global Business Services.
- Responsible for local execution of regional functional strategies and roadmaps.
- Responsible for the compliance with legal and organizational guidelines for his / her area of responsibilities.
- Responsible for financial performance management to achieve set targets.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders, including the UK executive team, regional CFO, and global CFO, to align financial strategies and objectives.
- Establishes and maintains budgets and regularly reports on actual or forecasted revenues, profit and losses in his/her area of responsibility.
- Oversees operations and lead the teams in charge of accounting, treasury, tax, controlling, CSRD reporting and IT to ensure full compliance with the legal standards and the
- Group policies and processes and to ensure data security.
- Ensure the reporting to the General Management and shareholders including CSRD.
- As a member of the Senior Management Team, advise the top management and lead local strategic projects.
