We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving business performance and supporting strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing insight, analysis, and guidance to help shape the future of our organisation.

  • Job Title: Finance Business Partner
  • Department: Finance
  • Location: Chapeltown (Sheffield)
  • Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Permanent

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Partnering with business managers and the executive board to deliver financial insight and support
  • Preparing and presenting budgets, forecasts, and management reports with accuracy and clarity
  • Analysing financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending solutions
  • Leading month-end close activities, including variance analysis, accruals, and prepayments
  • Contributing to business strategy and target-setting processes
  • Driving improvements in accounting practices and processes to ensure control and transparency
  • Supporting system implementations and process enhancements across finance.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members to build capability within the finance function

 

What you need to succeed:

 

  • A completed CIMA or ACCA qualification
  • Experience of management accounts
  • Confidence partnering with stakeholders of all levels
  • An engaging approach and clear communication skills
  • An analytical and commercial mindset
