Your Role:
We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving business performance within our manufacturing, operations and service functions.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll provide the financial insight and challenge needed to improve operational performance, drive profitability and support strategic decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with experience in manufacturing or production environments who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing business performance.
Key Details:
Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield.
Hybrid: Office and home working. A minimum of 3 days a week working in our Head Office. Employees are able to utilise our office facilities more should they wish to. We offer free onsite parking.
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead financial oversight and performance management for our Compounding Aseptic Production Services (CAPS) manufacturing facility and wider operations and service business areas.
- Develop and maintain product costing methodologies, analysing costs, margins and operational performance to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability.
- Partner with operational leaders, senior management and executive stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, ensuring financial plans align with operational objectives and business priorities.
- Prepare and present management reports, performance analysis and recommendations to support informed business decisions.
- Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reporting, robust financial controls and compliance with company standards.
- Support and develop junior team members through coaching, mentoring and line management responsibilities.
What you need to succeed:
- Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar role.
- Significant experience within a manufacturing, production or operational finance environment.
- Strong experience of product costing, financial analysis and performance reporting.
- Confidence influencing and partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
- A proactive, analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
