We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will perform on-site servicing and repairs of B. Braun Medical equipment, predominantly infusion devices, at customer sites, including patient homes, within a designated territory.

You will primarily be working in South Wales with the requirement to provide occasional support to the wider Team. The ideal location to be based for this role is along the South Wales M4 corridor between Newport and Swansea. This role will require daily travel and occasional overnight stays.

Here is what you can expect to be doing:

  • Self-scheduling of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on contracted equipment direct with customers.
  • Meeting key performance indicators, including repair turn-around times, PPM completion and uptime.
  • Providing accurate and detailed reports on all work carried out.
  • Developing relationships / partnerships with customers.
  • Proactively seeking to improve the processes and service provided by B. Braun Technical Services.
  • Ensuring effective maintenance and calibration of all tools and test equipment provided.
  • Responsibility for the accurate management of issued stock items.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experienced and skilled in providing comprehensive technical repair and servicing.
  • Qualified to HNC or equivalent in Engineering (preferably Electronics).
  • A competent and experienced hands-on service engineer, with the ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to maintain and achieve service targets and deadlines.
  • A team player, with the ability to also work unsupervised using your own initiative.
  • The ability to deal and interact with customers effectively at all levels.
  • Full UK driving license
