Your key responsibilities:
Production Planning
- Ensure production plans are being planned at an optimal level for operations based on capacity and material availability.
- Ensure production activities are being planned as per the net demand.
- Manage production planning activities to support lean/ agile supply chain strategy; identify planning data and parameters, maintain and ensure alignment with the planning system.
- Maximize machine efficiency with optimized downtime for production team; manage and control of production stability as per the planning data and parameters.
- Collaborate with all operations stakeholders to ensure plans are being executed based on operations constraints.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Participate in Supply Review Meeting for regional and global-driven business units.
- Ensure the responsiveness of the supply chain planning process and planning cycle framework.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or any related field.
- Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions by ensuring materials are available for production and products are available for delivery to customers; aptitude for identifying issues and developing solutions to ensure smooth distribution operations.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities efficiently; effective communication to coordinate with supply/demand planners, logistics teams, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (at least intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel). Experience with SAP or other ERP - DRP/MRP software is preferred.
- Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, particularly those related to supply chain improvements and logistics are an added advantage.
- Lean and Six Sigma: Knowledge of these methodologies can help in optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency is an added advantage.
