Are you passionate about quality, compliance, and leadership? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Unit to lead and evolve our Quality Management System (QMS) for Swiss Sales and Central Services. This is a strategic leadership role with a direct impact on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • You will ensure compliance with ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745, GDP, GMP, and Swissmedic regulations
  • You will play a key role in aligning quality initiatives with corporate goals and fostering a strong quality culture across the organization
  • Lead and develop the Quality Unit team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Define and implement the quality strategy for Sales CH and Central Services
  • Oversee QMS performance, audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as the primary liaison with Swissmedic, Notified Bodies, and other regulatory authorities
  • Ensure compliance with HMG, MepV, and internal B. Braun standards
  • Serve as IMS Process Owner and Coordinator for assigned processes
  • Support product lifecycle management and supplier qualification processes

 

Your profile

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in quality management within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, MDR, GDP, GMP, and Swiss regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
