From Barcelona, you will join Germany-based Corporate Start-Up B. Braun New Ventures, which is taking a leading role in the digital transformation of healthcare. With a young and fast-growing team, we develop solutions to automate medical procedures across various business areas. From our Barcelona location, you will be integrated into an international team that collaborates to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of existing and new platform services that form the foundation for a variety of applications, including secure IoT connections and modern, scalable web applications
• Work in an agile and collaborative team environment, engaging with other software developers, software architects, system engineers, UX engineers, quality engineers, and product owners
• Utilize state-of-the-art technologies, such as microservices and cloud-based solutions, to develop innovative software solutions
• Participate in a software development team, ensuring high-quality implementation and documentation through code and document reviews, release documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes
• Support and mentor junior developers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence

Professional competencies:

• Proven experience as a software developer, with expertise in backend, frontend, or full-stack development
• Strong background in designing and developing cloud-based web applications, particularly using Microsoft Azure or other major cloud providers
• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks (such as Angular, Vue, React, or similar) and at least two backend programming languages (such as C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and best practices in DevOps
• Experience in the healthcare industry or a similar regulated field is a plus
