DevOps Engineer

Core Development & Responsibilities

  • CI/CD Orchestration: Migrate and evolve workflows from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitHub Actions standards.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate Azure provisioning using Terraform, replacing manual processes with declarative, scalable models.
  • DevSecOps & Compliance: Implement automated security gates (Snyk, SonarQube, Fossa)
  • Observability: Execute monitoring strategies by migrating from Log4net to OpenTelemetry, integrating logs into centralized SIEM/Azure Monitor.

 

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Cloud Platform: Advanced experience in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, VNETs).
  • Containerization: Deep proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for on-premise to cloud-native migrations.
  • Modern Toolstack: Experience transitioning Atlassian stacks to GitHub, Jira, and Polarion with full lifecycle traceability.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Solid knowledge of Terraform for multi-tenant and hospitalspecific environment isolation.
  • Legacy Support: Ability to manage Windows Server and SOAP/WCF services during encapsulation phases.
  • Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for task automation.
  • Technical Competencies (Recommended / Good to Have)
  • Security Governance: Knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID) and audit procedures under the NIST framework.
  • Disaster Recovery: Configuration of backup strategies in Azure Recovery Services Vaults (RTO/RPO targets).
  • Advanced Observability: Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) and Log Analytics for deep troubleshooting.
  • GitOps: Familiarity with ArgoCD or Flux for automated Kubernetes deployments.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable in highly regulated environments where patient safety is the primary priority.
