About the Role
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be integral to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Internal Developer Platform, which spans multiple architectural layers across Microsoft Azure. Your role will focus on automated verification of the platform’s components, including infrastructure, orchestration, security policies, CI/CD automation, and developer tooling, as well as being a key stakeholder of validation of the platform.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test suites to verify cloud workflows at different layers (Infrastructure, Orchestration, Supporting, and User-Facing Applications).
- Design and integrate testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct functional and performance testing, API testing, and reliability checks for managed services and platform components.
- Ensure container platform stability, validating Kubernetes orchestration and GitOps-driven deployments.
- Drive Computerized System Validation (CSV) activities of the Internal Developer Platform to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medical software products.
Professional competencies:
- Proven experience in test automation
- Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and NUnit, with hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks
- Experience on Automation Test Reporting tools (eg. Allure Reports)
- Experience in developing Test Plans and Reports
- Expertise in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) with an understanding of cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Expertise in API and GUI testing and event-driven architectures
- Experience with the Kubernetes API and Custom Resource Definitions
- Good knowledge of Test Levels, Test Types and Software Test Techniques
- Knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV) principles and best practices for regulated industries
