We are seeking a Software Test Engineer with experience in manually testing web applications and testing APIs. As a mid-level engineer, you will play a crucial role in verifying the functionality and accessibility of our Corporate Websites while ensuring the reliability of backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and user experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design, execute and maintain manual test cases and conduct functional, regression and accessibility testing of our Corporate Websites, ensuring seamless content delivery and personalization.
- Develop and perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, verifying authentication, data flow, and error handling.
- Perform cross-browser compatibility testing to ensure consistent user experiences in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and mobile browsers.
- Analyze server logs, request/response behaviors, and error reports for troubleshooting and defect identification.
- Track, report, and prioritize defects using Jira.
- Work closely with Back-end and Front-End Developers, Product Owners and UX/UI designers in the Scrum process.
- Support performance testing.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation.
Professional competencies:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing, focused on regression and API testing.
- Experience on testing RESTful and SOAP APIs and using API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
- Experience working in Scrum teams, following Agile best practices.
- Experience using BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing tools.
- Experience using test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integrations with third-party services as a plus
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing as a plus.
