Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all equipment and plant infrastructure is maintained according to the schedule.
• Maintain building accessories (doors, windows, water pipes) in optimal condition.
• Monitor, operate, and maintain systems such as electrical panels, DG sets, fire protection systems, HVAC, and pest control. To monitor and record the daily checks of the electrical panel, DG routine checks, fire hydrant system checks, air condition plants and accessories.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to the plant.
• Monitor and minimize the consumption of diesel, electricity, and water.
• Reduce wastage generation in operations.
• Record and update preventive maintenance schedules.
• Address deviations or malfunctions promptly and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and other precautionary measures.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), and other relevant standards like ISO 13485.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily checks, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
• Report deviations and provide timely updates on maintenance tasks.
• Oversee external contract jobs, ensuring they meet specified quality and quantity requirements.
• Monitor usage and implement measures to optimize resource consumption.
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth collaboration to address maintenance needs efficiently.Educational Qualification
• Diploma / ITI / B.E
Experience
• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing, industrial, or facility management environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance in specific industries like manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food production, or chemical plants.
• Experience implementing safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and adherence to OHS and environmental standards.
• 1–2 years of experience working in environments requiring ISO certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485).
