Office & Business Executive in Lusaka
We are looking for an Office & Business Executive for our office B. Braun Medical Zambia Ltd. The position based in Lusaka is vital for the development of business and to provide healthcare service in Zambia and surrounding.
Your responsibilities
- Support the Managing Director and the broader team in all major operational activities to ensure the smooth running of the office and the continued development of the business.
- Serve as a key communication link between stakeholders in Zambia and colleagues in South Africa, coordinating cross-border operational and business activities.
- Maintain accurate records and oversee the receipt, review, control, and secure storage of reports from external service providers, ensuring their completeness and correctness.
- Supervise and maintain records of all financial activities, contracts, reports, and audits, acting as the main liaison with accounting and tax service providers, auditors, and relevant local authorities.
- Assist Management, the Company Pharmacist, Consultant Nephrologist, and clinic staff with all administrative and operational tasks related to Renal Clinic management.
- Act as the primary liaison between the South African logistics team and local logistics service providers, following up on orders, transportation, and delivery to the appropriate warehouse.
- Provide key support for stock management by coordinating with the sales team and renal unit to anticipate demand and plan stock levels effectively.
- Support the sales team with daily operational activities, including preparation of quotations, invoicing, and coordination of goods delivery to customer facilities.
- Manage invoice processing by liaising with the South African finance team and the local bank to ensure timely payments and resolution of any related issues.
- Serve as the main interface for business and service-related activities, working closely with the local team, customers, and partners.
- Assist Management in ensuring that all activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Your expertise
- An academic degree with focus on Business Administration, Business Management or Accounting and Finance.
- Excellent theoretical knowledge and outstanding academic performance.
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience, preferably with a multi-national company.
- Good understanding of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
- Self-motivated, strong ability of self-organization, extraordinary communication skills.
- Good understanding of the needs and conditions of teamwork within a network organization
- Expertise in standard Microsoft office tools (Outlook, MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Working experience with CRM software.
