As a Security Architect for IT, Network, and Cloud in our company, you are a key part of our global Information Security team. Your main task is to ensure that our IT and network infrastructures and cloud environments are secure and resilient against threats. You work closely with system administrators, operations engineers, and global stakeholders from operating technology, IT operations and business. You design secure IT and network concepts that protect our IT landscape threats. Additionally, you develop cutting-edge and innovative network concepts in the cloud and actively drive the Zero Trust approach.
You actively contribute to the harmonization and standardization of InfoSec processes. You also participate in Level 3 support and other IT/business processes.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architectures for our IT and network infrastructures, IT projects, and cloud environments.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures IT and network, including access controls, encryption, and other security solutions.
- Conduct regular threat models, security assessments and risk analyses for new and existing IT systems.
- Be part of a global DevSecOps expert community and develop best practices and procedures for establishing and using secure networks and cloud environments for agile development teams.
- Actively drive the continuous improvement of IT, network, and cloud security processes and concepts to keep the company up to date.
- Explore new, innovative topics such as “Zero Trust” and create concepts for them.
- Advise and train team members on network and cloud security issues.
- Harmonize and standardize InfoSec processes.
- Actively participate in Level 3 support and other change processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in securing IT and network environments
- Proven experience in designing IT projects
- Strong understanding of IT protocols and communication (e.g., SMB, NFS) and their security implications.
- Experience with network security and segmentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a global setting.
