Procurement Business Analyst

           Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the cleansing of Spend Categorization to ensure accurate and effective tracking of expenditures.
• Propose unclear spend categorizations to category managers and ensure correct categorization in future.
• Identify suppliers for deactivation to actively support supplier reduction efforts, including executing system-based actions.
• Analyze opportunities for improving payment terms, providing insights through country comparisons.
• Conduct category analyses as requested by Category Managers to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Assist in the development of dashboards and other analytical tools to enhance visibility and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for informed decision-making.
 

        Professional competencies:       

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and analytical software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Celonis).
• IT affinity and familiarity with Ariba is a plus.
 
Personal competencies:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
