Procurement Business Analyst

           Duties and responsibilities:

Lead the cleansing of Spend Categorization to ensure accurate and effective tracking of expenditures.
Propose unclear spend categorizations to category managers and ensure correct categorization in future.
Identify suppliers for deactivation to actively support supplier reduction efforts, including executing system-based actions.
Analyze opportunities for improving payment terms, providing insights through country comparisons.
Conduct category analyses as requested by Category Managers to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Assist in the development of dashboards and other analytical tools to enhance visibility and reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for informed decision-making.
 

        Professional competencies:       

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
Proficiency in data visualization tools and analytical software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Celonis).
IT affinity and familiarity with Ariba is a plus.
 
Personal competencies:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
