Junior Financial Controller

The Candidate would be responsible for daily Controlling processes with the strong focus on improvements implementation.

Handling Period Closing with the support of more experienced Team Members would also become an area of future expertise.

Additionally Junior Financial Controller will take part in subprojects leading to S/4 HANA implementation.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Technically perform all Controlling-related period-end closing tasks in SAP (incl. Inventory Valuation)
  • Overall responsibility for service invoices processing, including calculations
  • Prepare P&L for data delivery to group
  • Group Reporting in external systems
  • Support Team Members in daily and monthly tasks
  • Creating internal and external reports (ad hoc)
  • Participate in international Controlling projects (e.g. roll-out projects, one major focus will be the introduction of SAP S/4HANA)
  • Harmonize and enhance Controlling processes, close alignment with IT as well as with other business functions is required
  • Constantly assure data quality within the area of Controlling and Inventory Valuation

 

Professional competences:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience (nice to have in Controlling)
  • Basic SAP knowledge in modules: CO, FI, MM, SD, PP, PS
  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business, IT and related areas
  • First experience in projects (nice to have)
  • Very good English skills (at least B2 verbal and written)
  • Knowledge within Process Improvements Area
  • Pro-active and independent approach
  • Analytical skills and attention to details
  • Second foreign language: German, Spanish, French (nice to have).
