Information Security Specialist

Within the CISO Office we are looking for an Information Security Specialist. The CISO Office is responsible for information security issues within the B. Braun Group worldwide. We cover all topics from GRC and Security Architecture as well as CDC and Security Operations with a global team.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing information security requests from all parts of the group and through various communication channels.

  • Support and continuous development of the ISMS according to the company strategy, information security regulations, and instructions from the CISO and the Head of Information Security Governance.

  • Professional collaboration in internal and external projects regarding the identification, evaluation, and implementation of security requirements in close and trustworthy cooperation with all business areas.

  • Coordination and accompaniment of asset, risk, vulnerability, and security analyses and derivation and implementation of corresponding measures.

  • Coordination and accompaniment of internal and external information security audits and derivation and implementation of corresponding measures from the audits.

  • Optimization and further development of key figures and reporting.

  • Preparation and execution of internal training, awareness measures, presentations, and workshops.

  • Ensuring/adhering to the compliance regulations "Code of Conduct" and the organizational guideline "219/11 Compliance in the B. Braun Group" as amended from time to time.

  • Ensuring/compliance with organizational policies relevant to the function and area of responsibility in coordination with the manager.

  • Ensuring/compliance with company and statutory working time regulations.

  • In addition to the duties listed, the employee is required to carry out individual assignments on the instructions of the manager, which by their nature are part of his or her job or result from operational necessity.

 

Professional competencies:

  • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, information security management systems (ISMS), and various security technologies and platforms 

  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and security threats 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess security measures and implement effective solutions 

  • Understanding of information security regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and training 

  • Experience in managing and coordinating security projects, audits, and analyses 

  • Ability to work closely with various business areas and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met 

  • Commitment to optimizing and developing key security metrics and reporting 

  • Skills in preparing and delivering internal training, awareness programs, and workshops 

  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, codes of conduct, and statutory regulations
